Woodlands Park Hotel, Surrey
Type of event
JustPose’s employees are mostly home-based, so they don’t often get the chance to get together outside their events.
When the company’s founder approached us to create a team-building day, he wanted something that would encourage his people to collaborate and communicate – but, most importantly, to have fun and get to know each other better.
Did someone say ‘fun’?
When it comes to escaping the daily grind, our custom-built It’s a Knockout Around the World challenge takes some beating. Designed and built to Clownfish’s own concept and specification by the UK’s best inflatable manufacturers, there is literally nothing like it elsewhere.
HOW IT WORKS
Teams journey through eight different ‘countries’, collecting a stamp in their passport for each.
The trip begins with a runaway taxi ride through London, before heading south to Italy for Colosseum Chaos.
Players tackle the perils of the Egyptian pyramids; join the South African gold rush; celebrate Chinese New Year with dancing dragons; make a dash down under to Australia; go bananas in the Amazon rainforest and navigate the freezing waters of Antarctica to feed some very hungry penguins.
The entire journey is hosted by a professional compere, whose job it is to make up rules, dish out penalties and generally ensure that everyone gets as wet as possible.
It’s a truly hilarious way to spend time with your colleagues – and it’s certainly something you won’t forget in a hurry!
MAKING A DAY OF IT
JustPose don’t have large business premises, so they asked us to find an appropriate venue where they could combine their team-building event with lunch and a sales meeting.
We suggested the Woodlands Park Hotel because we know it well. It’s a beautiful location with plenty of outdoor space, great food and professional conferencing facilities. It ticked all the boxes for our client and meant that they could relax and enjoy their day whilst we took care of the logistics.
Clownfish organised an awesome day for us. My team loved It’s a Knockout, and I really appreciated the Clownfish event manager being there to sort out everything needed for the meeting afterwards.Sam Bradley Managing Director
