With meticulous attention to detail, we crafted a mesmerising spectacle that celebrated the innovation and elegance of the XP80. Let’s dive into the remarkable elements that made this event a resounding success.
Setting the Stage
To create an immersive atmosphere, we adorned the venue with a deep blue drape backdrop. This elegant backdrop served as a striking canvas, enhancing the XP80’s sleek lines and mirroring the marine essence of the event. The rich blue hues complemented the surroundings, evoking a sense of adventure and maritime luxury.
Illuminating Excellence
Our lighting design brought the XP80 and the four accompanying boats to life in distinct ways. For the XP80, we employed a combination of uplighters set to a serene blue and Eclipse profile lights positioned at the front, casting a captivating glow on its exquisite features. Behind the XP80, four Portman P1 lights were strategically placed against the deep blue drape, creating a stunning visual interplay of light and shadow.
The other four boats were delicately illuminated with two light blue Titan Tubes positioned on the floor to accentuate the underside, while Eclipse profile lights bathed them in a warm, inviting orange glow. Additional Titan Tubes were thoughtfully placed around the venue, adding a touch of brilliance to the overall ambiance.

The XP80 boat launch event was a seamless blend of stage presence and dynamic engagement. The host and boat designer captivated the audience from a specially crafted stage, adorned with Portman P2s and Clay Paky Mini Bs. This carefully curated lighting setup ensured that the speakers commanded the attention they deserved, while a large screen provided a captivating visual backdrop, enhancing every moment with stunning imagery. To further elevate the experience, the speakers gracefully walked around the boat, showcasing its innovative features up close, while maintaining a connection with the audience.
