Capacity: 150-180 theatre, 90-120 caberet and max 200 standing.
Location: Located in Blackfriars, just a five-minute walk from Blackfriars Station and Pier, The Line is exceptionally well connected, making it easy for guests to travel to and from the event.
Style: 48,000-square-foot low-carbon modern building. The building’s innovative use of sustainable features, including turbo-chillers, highly-efficient LED lighting, photovoltaic panels and rainwater harvesting, created a building that far exceeds its BREEAM* ‘Excellent’ rating.
Features: Three incredible event spaces - Waterline (10-200 guests); Highline (50-75 guests) and Skyline (30-200 guests).
Licensing: No license, but wedding receptions are welcome.
Accessibility: The venue is fully accessible. We offer ramps and lifts for easy access, and our facilities are equipped with accessible restrooms on every floor and a hearing loop in the ground floor events space.

What we bring to the space
Clownfish Events covers the full production of events at The Line: the AV, the entertainment and the management of the day itself.
AV Production
We handle lighting, sound and video for events at The Line that fits alongside and in addition to the venue’s built-in system.
Located in Blackfriars, just a five-minute walk from Blackfriars Station and Pier, The Line is exceptionally well connected, making it easy for guests to travel to and from the event.
Every space already comes with Wi-Fi, a projector and screens, a PA system and conference call facilities, so hybrid and in-person work side by side from the start. The ground floor Waterline splits into two separate rooms and takes up to 200 standing, Skyline on the seventh floor is wrapped in floor-to-ceiling glass with its own outdoor balconies over the Thames, and Highline on the sixth trades scale for a rooftop terrace and panoramic skyline views.
On top of that, we bring in the extra sound, lighting and staging a bigger production needs, whether that’s a full rig for a 200-guest conference in Waterline or something quieter for a private reception up on Highline or Skyline.
Event Entertainment
Clownfish supplies and runs event entertainment at The Line, from arcade machines and games to live performers, with our own hosts on the floor.
We own our everything and keep it in show-ready condition, so what arrives is what you saw on your proposals.
Our hosts work throughout the event, ensuring everything runs smoothly, as well as keeping the energy up across whichever of Waterline, Highline or Skyline your event is in.
Event Management
We manage your whole event at The Line, from the first plan through to pack-down and post-event debrief.
You get one team and a single point of contact across the production and schedule, so planning stays in one place and the day runs to the plan you have signed off.
We build the run of show with you and coordinate with The Line’s events team on access and timings, across whichever combination of Waterline, Highline and Skyline your event needs.

Private celebrations at The Line
We produce private celebrations at The Line, from wedding receptions to milestone birthdays, in spaces built for exactly that kind of night: Waterline for a full-scale party, Skyline for something more dramatic with its Thames views and outdoor balconies, or Highline for a smaller, more intimate do on the terrace.
Waterline holds up to 200 standing and splits into two rooms if you need to separate the party from something quieter. Skyline wraps you in floor-to-ceiling glass looking out over the river, and Highline’s rooftop terrace gives you a spot to step outside without losing the view.
The hosts and technicians who run our corporate events, run the private celebrations too, with the same owned kit, so your celebration gets the same standard as a corporate gala.
