Every one of the hotel’s 16 meeting and event spaces already comes with a screen and projector, or a screen with screen-sharing, plus complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and hybrid meeting support in select rooms. Room sizes range from an intimate boardroom up to a 352 square-metre suite that holds up to 250 guests theatre-style, all inside a building that’s just been through a multi-million-pound renovation blending its 1909 Art Deco bones with a sharper, more contemporary finish.
On top of that, we bring in the extra sound, lighting and staging a bigger production needs, whether that’s a full rig for a 250-guest conference in one of the larger suites or something quieter for a private dinner in the 1909 Private Dining Room or the Gin Palace & Cocktail Bar.

Private celebrations at The Strand Palace Hotel
We produce private celebrations at The Strand Palace Hotel, from milestone birthdays to engagement parties and festive celebrations, in rooms built for exactly that kind of night: Haxell’s Restaurant and Bar for a full-scale party, the Covent Garden Suite for something more formal, or the Palace Tea Parlour for a smaller, more intimate do.
The pillar-free Covent Garden Suite seats up to 250 and stands 200 more, giving us plenty of room to build a full production for a big celebration. For something smaller, the Gin Palace and Cocktail Bar holds up to 50 standing around its own bar, and the Palace Tea Parlour seats 28 for a quieter, more characterful do.
The hosts and technicians who run our corporate events, run the private celebrations too, with the same owned kit, so your celebration gets the same standard as a corporate gala.
