Ali T started as a casual member of our events team, but is now a permanent fixture in the office.

In recent months he has been Event Production lead for some of our biggest projects, including Wimbledon Bookfest and Shinnyo Village Festival, but it hasn’t always been so glamourous… 

“Back in the early days, when we still hired out inflatables, I went to collect one from a private house. They had left it to deflate next to their pond and it had rained all night – so the inflatable was full of frogs.

Ali B and I spent an hour picking them out and plopping them back into the pond before we could get the inflatable back to the warehouse for a thorough scrub down.”
