Wedding

Organising a wedding can be a full time job in itself – so what do you do when your real full time job leaves little time for anything else?

Call in the cavalry (or in this case, the bride’s mum, with a bit of support from Clownfish).

The brief

As a doctor, Charlotte’s job meant that organising her wedding to Toby was always going to be logistically challenging. But every bride should have the opportunity to enjoy planning such a special day, and her mum, Sian, was keen to ensure that Charlotte didn’t miss out.

That’s where we came in. Our job was not to take control of the process – but to offer wise words, expertise and support where it was needed. Flexible event management at its finest!

Enter the dream team

Charlotte is very creative and had some great ideas about how she wanted the day to pan out, and how it should look. At the start of the process, she sat down with our MD, Matt, to talk it through. He was able to help her visualise the things that would work well, and broaden the scope of her design by exploring concepts that she might not otherwise have considered.

With event design in hand, Sian called in our Event Director, Hannah, to help source
everything they needed. The venue was dry-hired, meaning that Sian needed to supply every last teaspoon, chair and fairy light – a huge task if you start from scratch, but not so daunting if you have Clownfish’s little black book of contacts at your fingertips.

On the day itself, a fleet of Clownfish vans delivered the equipment, furniture and décor, whilst our team of engineers installed lighting and sound systems. We also supplied a Mirror Booth to capture fun shots of the wedding guests as the evening progressed.

For a flexible approach to wedding planning and styling, we can help.
