How many people can play at once?
Eight people can play our Scalextric at one time. You can also play with fewer people, which is equally as adrenaline-filled and competitive.
How does the scoring work?
There is built-in technology at the start line so whenever your car whizzes past, a lap time is recorded. All this information is stored on a computer controlled by your Clownfish Host, so at the end of the race you’ll know who’s won and who had the fastest lap time.
Do I have to count the laps myself?
The track’s built-in technology keeps a record of laps every time a car crosses the start line. Your Clownfish Host will signal when the race is over – meaning all you need to worry about is having fun!
Aren’t slot car tracks notoriously unreliable?
As with all our equipment, we have invested in the highest quality track available. This one was invented in the UK by a former engineer. His quest to manufacture the perfect slot-car track has resulted in an impressively smooth, ridge-free surface – meaning that if your car spins off, it’s your driving, not the track, that’s to blame! For extra peace of mind, our operators carry spares of the critical components so that a minor fault won’t spoil the fun.
Can I brand this?
You can indeed! You can brand the cars, the racing barriers and even the skirt that goes all the way around the track.
Can I put this outside?
For a standard hire, our Scalextric track can only be used inside. However, if your event is outside, please do chat to us about how we can make it work for you.
