What kind of festivals do you work on?

We provide festivals and event management for the book world, cultural societies, the arts scene, special interest clubs, and religious and spiritual groups. We can tailor our festival management to your group’s needs and budgets.

Where do you host literature festivals?

We’ve spent years organising literature events and festivals across the UK, with our festival and event management team working on events like the annual Bookfest in Wimbledon (with over 100 events and 60k guests over ten days), the international Buddhist Shinnyo Village Festival in Surrey, and the partially remote (Covid safe) Lantern Floating Festival (with 11k virtual and live attendees over eight days).

Can you provide the technology for our literature festival?

Absolutely. You can work with our sound and lighting engineers to create the right package for your event, whether you need to create a remote TV studio, want an endless array of microphones for your panel of authors or guest speakers, or need a unique mix of projectors, PA systems, festoon lighting, recording, lighting rigs, and site management.

When Matt Turner started Clownfish Events back in 2009, hiring our games and party equipment was where it all began.

With the help of his dad, Ben, and an old red Post Office van, he drove bouncy castles and speakers all over southwest London and quickly became known for having the best equipment and friendliest smile for miles.

Fast forward a decade and this ‘fun stuff’ is still core to Clownfish. We pride ourselves on unearthing the best kit on the market, investing in it (so we don’t have to rely on third parties or agencies) and looking after it ourselves.

That means when you hire it for an important event, you know you’re getting something tried-and-tested, in perfect working order, that really looks the part – so you can relax and enjoy the day too.
