Warehouse Assistant – Full Time

We are looking for a meticulous and organised Warehouse Assistant to support our hard working Event Team and our ever-increasing event stock in our warehouses.

We need someone proactive, ready and willing to get stuck in, but also joyous and friendly! You’ll need to be happy to both work independently and with the team and this role is definitely a practical one.

We’ll teach you everything you need to know and encourage you to flourish – it’s been the Clownfish way since 2009. You’ll also get the chance to get involved with lots of other departments too (don’t forget to mention if you have an interest in technical production and set building).

Our warehouse stocks millions of pounds of high-end event equipment. From The World’s Largest PAC-MAN and a 8 player giant Scaletrix, to dancefloors, DJ packages and top-spec audio, lighting and video walls. Our Warehouse Assistant’s top priority is to look after our equipment, as if it was their own, ensure vans are loaded perfectly and support the Events Team (that deliver and install the kit). The job is a key part of ensuring our 100% five-star success record and so we’re looking for a detailed, hard-working and caring individual to join.

  • ~50% of your week – maintaining our event equipment in our warehouses, checking stock quality, fixing and repairing where needed, making sure accessories are stocked. Keeping our stock management system in immaculate order will be a key part of this role.
  • ~30% of your week – prepping equipment to go on events and helping to load vans correctly and efficiently whilst ensuring delivery notes are correct.
  • ~20% support on other projects (technical rigging, event installations and general company buildings improvements).

Job Type: Full-time.

Schedule: 5 days a week, Monday to Sunday (minimum 38.75 hour weeks). Warehouse days are 9-5.30pm with flexibility required to get the job done, especially in ‘peak’ periods.

Location: Warehouse based in Chessington, Greater London, with occasional event support in event venues across London and surrounding areas.

Salary: £27,000 – £31,000pa subject to experience. Ability to earn overtime.

Driving License: Preferred, not essential.

Holiday: 30 days, including 8 bank holidays.

Closing Date: 31st January 2025.
